Many things in my life changed two years ago when I realized I had probably found the secret of living for hundreds of years, hopefully without suffering the illnesses and suffering normally associated with aging. For example, although approaching 80 years of age, I began once again to actively plan new projects plus I developed a renewed interest in learning more about the communication tools by which living with other people becomes easier. Thus, it was with great pleasure a few weeks ago that I purchased for twenty-five cents at a second hand store a 1998 book called “The Ten Second Miracle” by psychologist Gay Hendricks that teaches a wonderful tool for living in happiness.

Is This The Secret of Immortality?
In recent weekly columns, I have reviewed the books, “Ending Aging” by Aubrey deGrey, commented on the anti-aging exercises in Peter Kelder’s “Ancient Secrets of The Tibetan Fountain of Youth” and written about DCA, a remarkable inexpensive cure for cancer now being scientifically tested. In last week’s column I began to review the book “Ancient Secrets Of The Fountain Of Youth” because it contains unique information about Tibetan exercises for slowing and stopping the aging process. For example, Peter Kelder, the author, explains the Oriental medical conception that the human body contains a number of invisible rotating energy centers (“chakras”) corresponding to the endocrine glands. These chakras are believed to slow down as a person ages. The first Spinning ritual in this book (see below) is specifically designed to speed up and balance any aging subtle body energy center.
