Last night I was up until the small hours of the morning reading this book from cover to cover. Frankly, this is one of those books I couldn’t put down until I finished it in one sitting. Therefore, I endorse everything said in the following italicized three paragraphs from the obviously self-serving promotional review on the Amazon Books website.
Nevertheless, following these paragraphs, I add several additional and hopefully pertinent comments based on the fact that for the past fifty years I have read and studied almost all of the same material on Freemasonry, Religion, Enlightenment, Immortality, Noetic Sciences, Consciousness and the foundations of our American democracy, etc. that Brown has used as his factual basis for this fictional novel. In doing research for this column, I read a valuable article on aging published on the Internet by Dr. L. Stephen Coles of UCLA. In this article, the distinguished Dr. Coles presents 25 theories of aging offered by various scientists. The article was first written in 1996 and revised in 1999. Below I present Dr. Coles list in summary form.

I am now thoroughly convinced that ordinary tap water is a great health hazard. Let me explain why and offer the old folk remedy of natural apple cider vinegar as a solution to the hardening of the arteries that ages and kills you.
All the minerals found in the body originate in the soil, in the solid stones of mother earth. However, we can’t directly eat this earth. If we did, if we normally took inorganic earth minerals directly into the body, we would eventually turn into stone ourselves. (more…)

For many years I have been following the advice given by professional nutritionists Paul Bragg and his daughter, Patricia, in their book, “Water: The Shocking Truth That Can Save Your Life.” The Bragg’s agree that pure water is absolutely necessary for life. However, they also claim that ordinary tap water and most bottled waters contain dissolved inorganic minerals the body can not absorb, thus contributing to our aging and death. (more…)
